Molly and Ren from the Zedify Brighton team caught up with Phoebe Mulrooney, founder of Brighton lanes-based dried flower company Phohm, to find out a little more about their experience of using Zedify’s sustainable delivery service.
Molly and Ren (Zedify): Hi Phoebe! Please could you introduce yourself and tell us a little more about what you do at Phohm?
Phoebe: Hi! I’m Phoebe from Floral Design Company Phohm, we’re based in Brighton. We specialize in dried flowers, we run workshops, we also do events, interior styling and weddings.
Molly and Ren (Zedify): What do you use Zedify for, and how long have you been using our cargo bike delivery service?
Phoebe: We use Zedify to send our dried floral bouquets in and around Brighton and we also use their Zend service to send our bouquets further afield. We started using Zedify around a year ago, around three or four months into starting the business. I’d seen a few Zedify bikes around Brighton before, and I thought I’d get in contact with them. I was trying to find a way that we could do same day delivery, and I was also trying to find a more sustainable way of delivering our parcels and have them collected in store because any business owner will know how annoying it is to try and take your parcels to a parcel shop to get them delivered – it’s such a waste of time and it’s also really fiddly to try and carry all the boxes yourself, so Zedify’s great.
Molly and Ren (Zedify): How does the end to end process work?
Phoebe: They come in, and if you place a delivery order with them before 12, they’ll pick it up the same day and then it gets delivered to the customer that day. It is a great first step if you want your business to be more sustainable.
